How we work to make sessions reachable.
I aim to make this site usable across keyboards, assistive technologies, and a wide range of devices, and to keep sessions themselves accessible.
The site
Targeting WCAG 2.1 AA. Headings are hierarchical, links are underlined, focus rings are visible, and colour contrast is checked on every section. Images carry text descriptions. If something here doesn’t work for you, let me know — I take it seriously.
Sessions
Both routes are paved and largely level, and the PATH is entirely indoors, step-free and climate-controlled. Benches are frequent on the Mt. Pleasant route. Pace and distance are yours, not mine — we can stop, sit, or turn back whenever. If walking isn’t the right format on a given day, we can move to a video session. The first conversation is a fifteen-minute video call, not a walk, so there’s no pressure to commit to a route before we’ve talked.
Getting there
Both meeting points are on the subway line. Mt. Pleasant Cemetery is a short walk north from St. Clair station, and the PATH route begins inside Union Station. The PATH has elevator access throughout and public washrooms along the way; the cemetery has washrooms near its entrances during opening hours.
